Him: We have a boat, a trailer, a caravan, a couple of cars and we need a shed for me to store all my tools, preferably separate from the house.
Her: I would like my car to have its own garage, so I don’t have to see all his junk.
Him: We don’t want stairs, a couple might be ok but we are done with two storey.
Her: I want a sunny house that faces north and of course a huge view, and a deck that we can sit out in the morning and see the ocean.
Him: I don’t want to renovate, I don’t mind cosmetic touch ups but house has to be in good nick.
Her: It must have 4 bedrooms, the master to have an ensuite for sure and I don’t want to share a wardrobe so need lots of cupboards.
Him: The street has to be good, house proud types in a great suburb.
Her: I want to walk to the beach and not too far from shops.
Him: And not too much garden or lawns to mow, but need it to be fenced for the dog.
Ohhh and our budget is under a million.
