Real estate chose me.
I had never owned a home, attended an open house or knew what the market was doing. I was thrown into sales when I said yes to a job offer in 2001 and hoped I would like it. In my first year I won International Best New Talent for the LJ Hooker franchise and a trip to San Francisco to attend training on a global level. I was considered a unicorn by my peers, they said I had an X factor that no one could duplicate.
A change of franchise and business strategy and next I am a key note speaker at an Australian real estate conference for a franchise that I had been crowned their number 1 sales person. They wanted to understand how I became so successful. It’s a bit embarrassing to think I had no formula but that I am a hugger, I like humans and I love being part of solving people’s real estate issues.
Clients like me; because I am me. Sometimes too honest. Sometimes a little too cheeky. But I am always authentic, ethical and have built my personal brand by not being guarded or having an over inflated sense of who I am.

More than meets the eye.
A Personal Assistant/Receptionist is usually quiet, time efficient and chronically organised. When I met Maddie, she was all of that but with a quirky sense of humour and an infectious giggle. I was to learn that there was so much more to be known about our girl.
Maddy is a very successful jockey, well known at country races across the state. Her days starts early on the back of a horse so she starts at 10am in the office. We support her training and travelling to attend Saturday race meeting across NSW so she has every Friday off. You need to look at her race history, winning on the back of a Gai Waterhouse trained horse you would find her blush.
She is so humble, genuine with a lovely nature. Maddy is the perfect asset to our team of rowdy achievers. A wonderful team player that is a smiling face when you walk into our office. I love the fact we have such a dedicated young woman in our midst. Her fearless approach to life is evident in her “can do” attitude at work. Nothing is too much trouble. Mickey Rumble comes to us with not only a brilliant name but a fantastic attitude.
Hailing from a real estate family on the mid north coast, her grandfather and her dad are both well respected agents in the area. Luck would have it that Mickey (real name Micaylah ) applied for the position as a trainee at My Agent and it was an instant yes. She would just fit into the business seamlessly. With a sound understanding of what work ethic is required to build a reputation in the business that never sleeps.
Whilst at university Mickey was working in the property management sector up the coast and decided that it was a career avenue that she wanted to do full time. With friends and family in the Bay area it was the ideal opportunity to see her come home. I am sure that Dad and Pop would love her to head up their way and learn the ropes but she is all ours. I cant wait to see her become a licensed agent, support her in learning to be one of the best in the industry and having her in the company for a long term.
